WE PROVIDE BOTH PERSONAL LOCATOR BEACONS (PLBs) AND EMERGENCY POSITION INDICATING RADIO BEAONS (EPIRBs)

Emergency beacons are devices dedicated to alerting those prepared to respond that a rescue is needed, and where. When visual and sound signals are inappropriate, the cell phone has no service, the VHF radio is out of range, the HF radio or sattelite phone is out of power, the Emengency Position Indication Radio Beacon (EPIRB) or Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) is ready to send a distress message via the worldwide COSPAS-SARSAT SYSTEM (see overview below).

A PLB is smaller and lighter than an EPIRB.
A PLB is designed to be carried on a person.

An EPIRB is designed to be carried aboard a vessel.

The G-PLB and GPIRB models incorporate GPS to transmit a more accurate location.

WE ONLY SUPPLY 406mhz TECHNOLOGY BEACONS, THE CURRENT TOP STANDARD.
